An injury always comes at the wrong time. When it happens, you should be treated quickly and competently. This is why we work closely with the emergency ward at the Hirslanden Klinik Birshof.
The waiting time is kept to a minimum and a competent team cares for you from the very beginning – regardless of your insurance class.

Children are allowed to be treated from the age of 12, and for hand injuries from the age of 10. If younger children are injured, please contact the University Children`s Hospital Basel UKBB emergency service (061 704 12 12).

Please remember that in life-threatening situations you should dial the Emergency Number 144

In our orthopaedic emergency centre you will be treated for injuries or acute complaints of the musculoskeletal system.

Parking spaces are available. The entrance to the Orthopaedic Emergency Centre is located to the right of the main entrance to the clinic.

In case of internal medical emergencies such as heart and circulatory diseases (e.g. heart attack), neurological emergencies (e.g. stroke), acute breathing difficulties or allergic reactions, please contact the emergency service by calling 144.
